I International Poetry Competition for Schoolchildren and Students "Inspired by the Word of Abay" to be held

The Institute of Philology of Abai KazNPU and the Center of Kazakh Culture and Science named after Abay in Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland) organize the I International Poetry Contest for schoolchildren and students "Inspired by the word of Abay". To participation are invited pupils of Polish classes, representatives of Polonia (Polish diaspora) of Kazakhstan at the age from 13 to 17 years old, as well as students and undergraduates of humanitarian disciplines from various universities of Almaty at the age of 18 to 24 years old. Students and master`s students of Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland) aged 18 to 24 are also eligible to participate in the contest.

In order to take part in the competition you must write and send a poem of at least 8 lines (two quatrains), up to 16 lines (4 quatrains). Language: for Polish students: Polish; for undergraduates: Kazakh, Russian (optional).
