The professors of Abai KazNPU were awarded the 1st Scopus Award Ceremony!

The first in Kazakhstan awards ceremony of 1st Scopus Award Ceremony was held on 13 November in Astana. The best researchers, according to Scopus, were awarded.

The prestigious award in the nomination «Best Researcher in Social Sciences» was presented to scientists of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University - Doctor of Law, Professor Zhanna Khamzina and Doctor of Law, Head of the Jurisprudence chair Yermek Buribaev.

The award ceremony was held with the participation of the Vice Minister of the MES RK Askhat Aymagambetov; Typhoon Bashal, Managing Director of the Elsevier Publishing House; Director of Scopus Coon Van Der Krogg; Regional Director for the Russian Federation and CIS countries of the World Higher Education Agency Times Higher Education, Egor Yablokov; Elsevier Central Asia Regional Director, Alia Ospanova.

The event included a training seminar for authors, editors of scientific journals and the first seminar in Kazakhstan of the leading university rating agency Times Higher Education.
