«Spiritual personalities on the road to independence»

On December 7, at Abai Kazakh National University, on the eve of Independence Day of Kazakhstan, the club of young experts «Tanym» organized a scientific and practical student conference «Spiritual personalities on the road to independence».

Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Egyptian Nur-Mubarak University of Islamic Culture, and the University of Foreign Languages and Business Careers attended the conference.

At the conference, the reports of the «Free Club of Religious Studies» were voiced. They discussed the progressive role of such representatives of the intelligentsia as the spiritual teacher Mushir Zhusip Kopay, Ahmet Baitursynuly, whose life was very difficult, the mentor of the Alash movement Mustafa Shokai, the statesman Dinmukhammed Kunaev, the writer Mukhtar Shakhanov.

The country`s leader Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, in his article «Seven Facets of Great Steppe», noted that he pays special attention to the spiritual development of young people and stresses that it is very important to form a national identity among the young specialist, to foster a modern approach to professional activity, to develop high performance skills.

The idea put forward in the article that it is necessary to elevate the great personalities of different spheres of human activity is very relevant. In our university in this direction, for several years, the Tulgatanu Center has been fruitfully operating. The organizer of this scientific and practical conference, club of young experts «Tanym» began its work.
