One of the key areas of Abai University is the development of international strategic partnerships and network interactions with leading universities, research centers, and organizations worldwide:

-          Embassies of foreign countries both within the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad;

-          Consulates General of foreign countries located in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

-          UNESCO Office in Almaty;

-          DAAD Information Center;

-          National Office of the Erasmus+ Program in Kazakhstan.

International scientific and cultural centers

Another aspect of international activity is the presence of international scientific and cultural Abai Centers outside the country.  Thus, the University has established 4 international educational centers in China, Turkey, Russia, and Poland, with the mission of promoting the legacy of Abai Kunanbayev and conducting various seminars and classes on country studies, culture, and history of Kazakhstan. The activities of the Abai Centers contribute to integration into the international scientific and educational space, the development of close scientific and educational cooperation, the implementation of image-building policies, and the promotion of Abai University abroad.
