Improving teacher education is anactual problem

On 12 December, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was held an extended meeting «Improving the system of pedagogical education» of the educational-methodical association of the Republican educational-methodical council on the group of specialties «Education», with the participation of the Vice-Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aymaganbetov.

Representatives of regional education authorities, pedagogical educational institutions, including universities, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and secondary schools, attended the meeting.

The rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Takir Balykbayev opened the extended session.

Director of the Resource Advisory Center for Inclusive Education for Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Personal Psychology of KazNPU, Zulfiya Movkebaeva presented the report «On the Development of Inclusive Education in Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan». Head of the chair of «Pedagogy and Psychology» of KazNPU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Aigerim Kusherbayeva made the report «On the improvement of the content and order of the special exams in the direction of «Education». Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Assel Chaklikova made the report «On the special program of the master`s program in linguistic training of pedagogical universities». The meeting participants exchanged views on the issues on the agenda.

Vice-Minister of Education and Science of the Republic, Askhat Aymaganbetov summed up the meeting of the educational-methodical council. He identified specific tasks in this area, noting that today the improvement of the system of teacher education is an actual problem.
