Final competition»Eco Club in our life»

On December 8, 2018, within the framework of the project «Ecological Clubs», the final competition "Eco Club in Our Life" was held among environmental clubs of schools in Medeu, Almaly, Auezov, Bostandyk districts of Almaty, timed to the 90th anniversary of Abai KazNPU.

The main direction of the competition is the identification of gifted students, volunteers and students with theoretical and practical knowledge of the environmental education program.

The goal of the competition in the framework of the project «Ecological clubs» was realized in two rounds.
1) The first round is intraschool, among ecological clubs of Almaty.

2) The second round - on the basis of Abai KazNPU.

Following the results of the first round, the teams-finalists of ecological clubs of 10 schools were revealed, the trainers of which were students-volunteers of the institutes of Pedagogy and Psychology, Natural Science and Geography, Philology and Multilingual education of Abai KazNPU.

- Secondary boarding school № 55;
- Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics.

Within the framework of the 2nd round of the «Eco-club in our life» contest, the participants of the teams of ecological clubs presented their creative works on waste recycling. In the competition «Greeting» they showed scenes on current environmental topics in the «Eco-Theater». In the theoretical competition «Blitz survey», participants demonstrated the knowledge that was gained during practical exercises in eco-clubs.

At the end of the rounds, the winner of the final competition «Eco Club in Our Life» was the team with the highest score.

First place:
- MPI «Gymnasium number 46».
Second place:
- MPI «Gymnasium number 105»;
- MPI «School Prestizh».
Third place:
- MPI «Gymnasium № 4»;
- Secondary boarding school № 55.

All participants who took prizes 1,2,3 places, received tickets to the marathon «YarkoKross», which will be held in May in Almaty.

The contest ended with congratulations to the winners and a musical performance by the creative group of the volunteer club «Meyrim».
