938 students received tuition benefits

 

In the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai for the 2023-2024 academic year, discounts from 10% to 100% were provided for tuition fees for students in need of social support and who have achieved some success.

 

It should be noted that one of the main priorities is the social support of students.

 

Such benefits include orphans and children left without parental care under the age of 23 due to their social status and persons who lost both parents or a single parent during their studies, students from an incomplete family, raising a single parent, students with disabilities (disabled people of groups I, II, III), students with many children from families, i.e. from families with four or more children-schoolchildren, veterans of military operations on the territory of other states, in addition, family members of military personnel, law enforcement officers and special state bodies who died in the line of duty, students whose parents have been working in the society (university) for more than 3 years, holders of the sign "Altyn Belgi" at the same time (for 1st year students) according to the results must have at least 90 points, "Ozimiz" - graduates, teachers and employees of the society (University), winners of national and international competitions and festivals, winners of sports competitions (the Championship of Kazakhstan, the Championship of Asia, Europe and the world) and graduates of the pilot project "Pedagogical Class", enrolled in the second programs of higher education, master`s and doctoral studies.

Of these, the total number of applications is 1 739.

 

Repeated applications - 582.

 

Applications that do not meet the requirements - 219.

 

Including the decision of the commission meeting, 938 students received tuition benefits.

 

Students` applications were accepted from 11 to 30 September 2023, as a reminder.
