Сenter «Great steppe» personalities

At Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the Tulgatanu Center was opened several years ago and works to train future teachers in the teaching of prominent personalities in order to form schoolchildren as personalities. In connection with the tasks of the President of the country N.A. Nazarbayev, the result of the «Spiritual Modernization» and «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe» programs, was opened the Center of «Great Steppe» Personalities. It will include the Public Council, the departments of «Tulgatanu» and «Popularization of great personalities».

On January 22, the first meeting of the Public Council of the new center was held. The membersof the Public Council were approved. The head of the Council was elected Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Professor Takir Balykbayev,  Deputy - Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Kopzhasar Naribayev.

The other members of the Public Council: Chief Researcher of Auezov Institute of Literature and Art Akysh Nurdaulet, Lead Researcher of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies Kuanysh Alizhan, Scientific Secretary of R. Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies Bolatbek Batyrkhan, Head of A. Baitursynov Department of Linguistics Ornay Zhubayeva, famous writer, Zhambiloved Nagashibek Kapalbekovich, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, prominent historian Mambet Koigeldiev, head of the department of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh. Ualikhanov.

Members of the Public Council talked about the future tasks and activities of the Center of the «Great Steppe» Personalities. At the same time, the introduction of the discipline «Tulgatanu» into the educational process was presented to the members of the Public Council, which would enhance the personal qualities of future specialists, and its project was presented.

The Chairman of the Public Council, Takir Balykbayev, summed up the meeting.
