The university held an anti-flood training

On February 22, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University the anti-flood training «The actions of the management team, staff and students in the event of a mudflow situationat the university» was held.

In order to develop skills and competent actions, students and teachers of the university were involved in the training. An interactive lesson was conducted at the Institute of Natural Science and Geography; the possibility of the destructive impact of mudflows on Almaty was shown.

The participants of the training were brought to the order of action when there is a threat of mudflow and after it. A training was conducted on the evacuation of students from the university auditoriums to a safe place, for further (if necessary) evacuation.

The director of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography, Kulyash Kaymuldinova, the deputy director for educational work, Nurlan Manapov, and the faculty of the Institute took an active part in the event.
