Round table "Inclusion-oriented training of special teachers: trends, challenges, solutions"

On October 18, 2024, a Republican round table on the topic "Inclusively oriented training of special teachers: trends, challenges, solutions" will be held on the basis of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The round table will be devoted to topical issues of ensuring an inclusive educational environment with teaching staff.

The project team of the program-targeted financing of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic BR18574162 "Inclusively oriented training of special teachers" will present the results of a study on the state and trends in the provision of teaching staff for the process of accompanying persons with special educational needs.

Within the framework of the round table, issues of training and retraining of special teachers, as well as additional training will be discussed. The active involvement of non-governmental organizations in the development of inclusive education will also be considered.
