Vacancy: Chief Specialist of Education management school (EMS)

 

 Name of the vacant position:

Chief Specialist of Education management school (EMS)

The main functional responsibilities of the structural unit:

- implementation of curricula and programs in advanced training courses;

- implementation of admission, training, monitoring of educational achievements and certification of students under the educational program of pedagogical retraining (PGCE);

- ensuring the involvement of faculty staff for the organization of the educational process and certification of students under the program of pedagogical retraining;

- coordination and support of MOOCs in the disciplines of the university`s educational programs;

- conducting classes with students, interacting with specialized departments of KazNPU and departments of other universities in accordance with concluded agreements;

- organization and implementation of methodological support for the educational process of advanced training courses and retraining of teaching staff, documentation, orders for enrollment of students and completion of courses, certificate issuance statements, EMS correspondence on professional development and retraining of teaching staff;

- creation and maintenance of the portal of the professional development and distance education system, conducting advanced training courses, trainings, seminars;

- support of the distance education portal, filling it with electronic educational and methodological complexes of disciplines and information support.

 

Main job responsibilities:

- Ownership of Univer and MOODLE information systems;

- participate in the development of long-term and annual work plans, training plans for advanced training and the definition of ways and methods of their implementation;

- participate in the preparation and execution of the schedule of training sessions;

- coordinate the activities of the staff of the training departments of the CPM;

- coordinate the compilation of reports on the activities of the CPM;

- coordinate the work of teaching staff on the implementation of the schedule and plan of training sessions;

- to take part in solving issues of professional activity for the implementation of approved plans, improving work efficiency, improving the organization of work of the CPM;

- to monitor compliance with the established requirements and standards for the organization of work;

 

Business trips:

Education:

Higher or postgraduate (socio-humanitarian, technical, preferably IT) education.

Required professional experience (duration, scope, other)

Work experience in government agencies or educational organizations, or in the specialty for at least 3 years.

Professional competencies:

- Preparation of plans and reports in the state and Russian languages;

- Preparation of a technical specification for the announcement of a tender for the purpose of public procurement of goods and services;

- Knowledge of expert and analytical monitoring of the implementation of the plan;

- Business negotiation skills related to EMS activities.

 

Personal competencies and qualities:

 

Communication skills, responsibility, honesty, dedication, punctuality, ability to work in a team and in conditions of uncertainty, flexibility, adaptability, time management, managerial skills, presentation skills, developed emotional intelligence, stress tolerance, attention to detail.

 

Knowledge of languages, including the state language (list of languages that the candidate must speak)

Kazakh - fluent

Russian - fluent

English - at least Intermediate level

 

Computer skills:

 

Fluent in MS Office (Word, Outlook), Excel, Google Drive/Docs/Meet, ZOOM, PowerPoint, Canvas, electronic document management.
