The visit of the delegation of Abai KazNPU to KazNAU

On June 17, 2019, a delegation from Abai KazNPU headed by the rector Takir Balykbayev visited the Kazakh National Agrarian University to exchange experience.

The delegation includes heads of departments of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian University Tlektes Espolov opened the event. Greeting the guests, he noted the importance of meeting representatives of the two largest universities in Kazakhstan.

According to the program, reports were made by KazNAU rector Tlektes Espolov, vice rector for educational and methodical work Bakyt Kalykova, vice rector for scientific work and international relations Alexander Kurdeko, vice rector for educational and social work Zhanara Daurenbayeva, head of staff Marina Alekseeva, head of human development department resources Daria Saudabayeva, head of the department of organizational and legal work Azamat Altaev, head of the department of strategic development Ukilyay Kerimova.

They described in detail the effective management - the main factor in the success of the university, the transformation of the university into a national research university: systematic, the development of human resources, the specifics of the university transition into the non-profit joint stock company.

In addition, parallel sessions were held in the areas of university management: academic quality, development of research and innovation work, student life and student self-government.

The issues of the university development were discussed - strategic development, financing of higher education, project management, organizational and legal work, accounting and reporting, management of international educational programs, concept of the work of the situational center - quality assurance. The annual monitoring of programs, a research university, a mechanism for managing national and international projects and grants (on the work of a commercialization office with start-up projects), social support for students, student self-government, and the organization of students` leisure time were also reviewed. At the session, participants exchanged views and experiences.

A tour of the campuses of the university was organized to familiarize the delegation, during which it was described in detail about their activities. The guests also visited the Center for Humanitarian Research «Ruhani Zhangiru», international innovation centers and laboratories, «N. Nazarbayev Center: Education and Science».

This meeting was very productive.
