Erasmus+ Experience Sharing Workshop within global event #ErasmusDays 2019

 

Within global event #ErasmusDays 2019on 11 October 2019 Abai KazNPU International Officeheld Erasmus+ Experience Sharing Workshop for students and academic staff with a guest speaker from Mykolas Romeris University, head of International Office Audra Dargyte Burokiene and participants of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility ISK Associate Professor Gulnar Askarova, lecturer and doctoral student of Biology Division Rustam Amanzholov, doctoral student of Institute for Pedagogy and Psychology and ISK lecturer Akmaral Kanayeva and International Office coordinator Aizhan Atshabarova.

 

The Erasmus Day 2019 is based on a simple idea which is the opportunity for millions of participants in various Erasmus+ projects to share their experience of projects participation, to talk about the changes that have occurred at the level of universities, the education system, society as a whole, what impact they have on personal growth, career development mobility participants, bring the results of their projects to the public. Taking into account the scale of the #ErasmusDays hashtag event, any university in Kazakhstan will be able to familiarize the general public with the experience and results of Erasmus+ projects, increase the recognition of the Erasmus+ brand and its university at the global level, expand international network, become participants in new Erasmus+ Actions and strengthen the opportunities for professional partnerships.

 

Guest speaker Mrs Audra Burokiene delivered her speech on Best Practices of Erasmus+ ICM at MRU that was presented in-depth the structure and internationalization of her University and organization of Erasmus+ ICM. Mykolas Romeris University is one of the strategic partners of Abai KazNPU. Partnership that was initiated in 2008 has been developing within academic mobility, Erasmus+ ICM and scholarly internship of master students. Within the partnership, 20 students underwent training under the academic mobility program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Erasmus+ credit mobility, and 3 employees received an Erasmus+ scholarship for internships and exchange of experience at this university.

 

Each speaker of the seminar shared experience of Erasmus+ mobility in European universities, highlighting the advantages of this program in further professional development.
