Abai KazNPU is preparing for the transition to an innovative model of university management


Since 2018, Abai KazNPU has a Strategic University Development Plan until 2025. One of the main objectives of this document is the transition to a new management model. The main content of this model is the implementation of the principles of Adaptive leadership and the Horizontal cyclic organizational structure (HCOS). To this end, the university organized trainings and explanatory work among employees and teaching staff under the guidance of a professional manager, management researcher and business consultant Ozat Bayserkeev.


The final result of the introduction of a new management model is to eliminate bureaucracy, to really attract departments and their employees to management.


As a result of the implementation of this model, it is expected to receive the following: Flexible and operational management; An effective system for evaluating the work of teaching staff and AS; Motivating system of remuneration of teaching staff and AS; Effective hiring system; Effective recruitment of students, undergraduates and doctoral students for training; The overall involvement of teaching staff in management. In general, the intensive organizational and academic development of institutes and other departments of the university.


Today, the university`s activities are formulated as follows: «Based on the most advanced methods and programs, we train educators of the 21st century. Our corporate culture and infrastructure is conducive to unlocking the full potential of students».
