Discussion of the article «Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st century» and the law «On the status of a teacher»

On January 22, 2020, at the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography between the teaching staff and students, there was a discussion of the article by the Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev «Abai and Kazakhstan in the XXI century» and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the status of a teacher». The unification is not accidental: the great Kazakh poet and thinker advocated for the enlightenment of his native people.

The purpose of the event is to popularize the rich heritage of Abai Kunanbayev. Having played a huge role in the formation of the intellectual nation in the 19th and 20th centuries, it is still relevant today. Abai`s wise sayings and edifications on strengthening statehood through education will undoubtedly serve the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the status of a teacher». After all, the future of any country depends on the activities of teachers who train and educate new generations.

The director of the institute Kulyash Kaymuldinova opened the event. Then the head of the department of social and philosophical disciplines, Zhomart Simtikov, and the chairman of the youth committee of the university, Didarbek Dildabek, took floor. They emphasized the importance of the topics raised and their commonality. Teachers and students discussed and actively shared their views and ideas.
