The first republican  seminar-training

On 25-26 February 2016 Scientific and Practical Center "Resource Advisory Centre on Inclusive Education for the Republic of Kazakhstan universities and preventive suicidology" at the  base Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the Public Association "Youth organization of people with disabilities" Zhiger "(with the support of Soros Foundation Kazakhstan) held the first republican  seminar-training "Organization of psychological and pedagogical support of inclusive education in the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for the coordinators of the RK universities on inclusive education.
Conducting the seminar-training was a new phase in the implementation of the Convention on Disability Rights, ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan 20 February 2015 and contributes to the implementation of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Concept of Kazakhstan joining one of the 30 most developed countries of the world for 2014-2020. In the training workshop was attended by representatives of public associations of disabled: "The youth organization of people with disabilities" Zhiger " and PO " Namys ", Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation" Kenes ", prevention department and psycho-social support urban student clinic in Almaty, the company "Digital publishing LLP" MCFER Kazakhstan "and others. A very interesting exhibition of technical aids and rehabilitation resources to support students with disabilities have demonstrated to all present experts LLP" CTC Asia Group ".
On the invitation to participate in the seminar coordinators responded from more than 30 universities of Kazakhstan, who took an active part in the sections on practical training. The training seminar was also attended by psychologists Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemical and Biological direction of Almaty, who have shown a keen interest in the whole event and invited experts Resource Centre provide training for students and teachers.
On behalf of the university administration with a welcoming speech by the first vice-rector of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University  Yermaganbetov Mubarak Yermaganbetovich, who drew attention to the commitment of our state policy to ensure to persons with disabilities, vocational and higher education. He noted that the organization of the complex conditions in the universities to provide students with disabilities access to quality higher and postgraduate education should be an integral part of the educational strategies of universities.

On behalf of the Soros Foundation Kazakhstan greeted the participants of the seminar addressed Aizhan Oshakbayeva, coordinator of the "Human Rights" program of Soros Foundation Kazakhstan and Kalikova Saule Amanzholovna, Education Advisor Soros Foundation Kazakhstan.
The main speakers of the seminar-training made by the Director of the Resource Centre Advisory Centre on Inclusive Education for the Republic of Kazakhstan universities and preventive suicidology, doctor of pedagogical sciences on correctional pedagogy, professor Movkebayeva Zulfiya Akhmetvalievna, as well as employees of "Youth organizations of persons with disabilities" Zhiger ". In the presentations of Movkebaevoy Z.A., which highlighted the main trends and prospects of the activities of the Resource Centre and regulatory support of inclusive education at the stage of higher and postgraduate education, is a sample of the complex of the university plan to create social and environmental conditions for students with disabilities.
Reports of the President of the PO "Youth organizations of persons with disabilities" Zhiger " Yusupdzhanov Parkhat Azatovich and vice-president of the same organization Zhanysbayev Madiyar, with the active support of which, and the seminar was held, focused on logistics and information and adaptive maintenance of an inclusive process at the university as well as the review of existing programs of charitable support to students with disabilities and the development of people with disabilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Prominent public figure, chairman of the Public Association of invalids "Namys" Imanaliev Kairat Esmuratovich acquainted the participants with the results of the monitoring access of persons with disabilities to educational services in Almaty. Topical issues of medical assistance to persons with disabilities highlighted in his report Zhumabekov Nurbol Omarbekovich, head of the department of prevention and social and psychological assistance "City student polyclinic" in Almaty. Great interest among the participants were the reports of the senior lecture of the chair of special education  of the Abai KazNPU, candidate of pedagogical sciences Zhalmukhamedova Assia Kairovna(Theme of report: "optional models of psychological and pedagogical support for disabled people (foreign and domestic experience)" and the Executive Director of the Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation "Kenes" Disabled (Almaty) Alaev Viniamin Yurevich ( "Social problems faced by students with disabilities in high schools ").
Truly a discovery for all became a training "Peace to the touch," a rehabilitation of the Republican Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired Citizens Zhansaya Medyarova, during which the audience had to learn to touch the objects offered to recognize a variety of noises and sounds and to be guided in the dark blindfolded. It should be noted that it could not all and not immediately. As a result, all participants were able to understand the feelings experienced by the blind in our ultra-modern and so unsuitable for their world.
The climax of the seminar was the tour in Consulting and Practical Center for support of students with disabilities and the development of people with disabilities (lecture room №508 at the building Kazbek bi str., 30), which is practically a working model of student support center with a disability, which is planned in the future to replicate across country.
At the end of training coordinators were solemnly presented with certificates.
Two days passed quickly, and the coordinators took with them a lot of impressions and new knowledge. We hope that the information will be useful in their work and interact with the Resource Center will become a fruitful and continuous cooperation.
