Abai University in international ranking Webometrics: a new success

Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, which is compiled every six months, has been published. Webometrics Ranking of World Universities is a global ranking of world universities, based on a combined indicator that takes into account the demand for the university website and publications of its researchers in the science systems Scopus and Google Scholar.

The world ranking includes 128 higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Abai University website took 4995th position in this ranking. Compared to January 2020 (6022), we moved up by 1027 positions. According to new data from Webometrics, Abai University entered the top 8 best universities of Kazakhstan, taking 8th place. Among pedagogical universities we take the 1st place.

The annual advancement of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in this rating once again confirms its stable position in the world higher education system. Abai University shares its position with the leaders of scientific and educational market of the world and the leader among the pedagogical universities of the country.
