Open lesson «Elimnin bakytyn terbetken Tauelsizdik»

On December 14, 2020, the Institute of natural science and geography of Abai KazNPU hosted the event «Elimnin bakytyn terbetken Tauelsizdik» on the Zoom platform, organized by 1st-year students of the specialty 6B01516-Geography-history and the mentor of the group Bakhyt Moldir. The event was attended by Director of the Institute Kaymuldinova Kulyash and head of educational and social work of the Institute of natural science and geography Manapov Nurlan, teaching staff and students.

The event was opened with the national anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Presenters Kizaybay Saltanat and Zheken Akzhol declared a moment of silence in memory of those who died in the events of December 1986. Then students, with the help of video materials prepared by them, made a review of those tragic events, presenting sketches dedicated to heroes-victims of political repressions of that time. They introduced the biographies of compatriots, such as Ryskulbekov Kairat, Asanova Lyazzat, Sypataev Erbol. Student Zheken Akzhol performed a kyu, dedicated to the events of December. Poetry was read, snippets from interviews with participants and eyewitnesses of youth unrest were shown and the history of independent Kazakhstan was reviewed. At the end Kaymuldinova Kulyash and Manapov Nurlan shared their impressions from the open lesson and thanked the organizers of the event which was at a high level.
