Meeting of the founders of Consortium «Educational Alliance»

In August 2018, at the initiative of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University, with the support of the International Education Center «EDTECH-KZ» - UNESCO, the «Educational Alliance» Consortium was established. The consortium includes departments of education of the regions and cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent.

The purpose of the consortium is the training of teachers in pedagogical universities of Kazakhstan, meeting the modern requirements of schools. This requires the coordinated actions of regional departments of education and pedagogical universities for the formation of student contingent of first-year students from among schoolchildren who have shown inclinations and desire to become teachers and teachers of the modern formation. The Kazakhstan school has experience of working with high school students in their vocational guidance to pedagogical specialties.

KazNPU invited heads of education departments of regions, cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, rectors of pedagogical universities and representatives of the International Education Center «EDTECH-KZ» UNESCO, specialists in the field of teacher training from Finland to the meeting of founders of the Consortium Educational Alliance. Consortium participants will determine further joint action (which must be permanent and effective) and the work program for the next three years to help improve the quality of teacher training of the new generation.

The meeting of the participants of the «Educational Alliance» consortium will be held on February 22, 2019 at 10.00 at the address: 25, Zhambyl, Almaty, KazNPU and Academic Council Hall.
