Abai University and Vytautas Magnus University:

implementation of a double degree program in three programs

On June 28, 2021, the delegation of Abai University, represented by representatives of the Institutes for Pedagogy and Psychology, Art, Sports and Culture, Philology and Multilingual Education, Department for International Cooperation and Department for Designing the Educational Programs, headed by Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization Aktolkyn Kulsariyeva met via the Zoom online platform with the delegation of Vytautas Magnus University represented by the Chancellor of the Academy of Education Lina Kaminskienė, Vice-Rector for Communications Vilma Bijeikienė, Director of the International Cooperation Department Ilona Kazlauskaite, Head of International Cooperation and Marketing Department Vaidas Daciola, Head of the Center for Lithuanian Studies and International Programs Vilma Leonavičienė and Music Curriculum Leader Asta Rauduvaita.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the details and prospects for the implementation of a double-degree program in the following three specialties of undergraduate and graduate programs: Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages, Primary Education and Music Education. The parties also proposed to develop an action plan with deadlines and a template for an additional agreement on the implementation of the double degree program in the declared specialties.

As a result of the meeting, individual meetings of program contributors and the signing of an additional agreement on the results of joint work were proposed.
