Results of the international seminar «KAZDUAL: search for ways of effective development of dual education of Kazakhstan taking into account the experience of the European system»

On June 30, 2021 in Abai KazNPU, in the framework of the current International project «KAZDUAL - implementation of the dual system in Kazakhstan», within the ERASMUS + PROGRAM, there was held the International Online Seminar «KAZDUAL: search for ways of effective development of dual education of Kazakhstan taking into account the experience of the European system».

Organizers: Working group of the KAZDUAL project in KAZNPU - Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Commercialization Department, Laboratory for Analysis of Pedagogical Technologies of the Science Department.

The purpose of the workshop: developing a dual education model that takes into account the demands and interests of employers, universities and students in different sectors, improve existing practices and increase the efficiency of the dual education system in Kazakhstan, and which allows to determine, implement and support the necessary measures to reform national education.

It is important for the project participants to use the experience of the European partners of the project, to facilitate the synchronization of educational programs with the participation of educational organizations and employers, as the main stakeholders in the emerging model of dual education.

The seminar was opened by the moderator and speaker of the event Bayan Sapargaliyeva - postdoctoral researcher, coordinator of the KAZDUAL project from KazNPU. Speakers of the event from KazNPU Galiya Abayevа - director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, project expert, Talgat Igisinov - head of the Commercialization Office, key person for design and technical support of the project, as well as Dina Sabirova - postdoctoral researcher on dissemination and use of project results, analyst of the Educational programs of KAZDUAL project.

Members of the Project Working Group considered the theoretical aspects of the implementation of the dual system in Kazakhstan, discussed the specifics of dual education in Germany and Austria. Then they summarised the work and analyzed the possibilities of realizing dual education in pedagogical specialties.

The online seminar had more than 70 participants, representatives of universities and organizations from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, including: Bukhara State University, Samarkand State University, Osh Technological University, Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), National Office of Erasmus + in Kazakhstan, E.A. BuketovKaraganda University, Shakarim University, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University, S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar State University, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, S. H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, Kazakh National Women`s Teacher Training University, Electrotechnical College in Semey, Karaganda Higher Polytechnic College, College of Auezov SKU and Abai KazNPU.
