Lecturer from St. Petersburg visiting future philologists

Associate Professor of the Department of Children`s Literature of A.I.Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University (St. Petersburg) Marina Kostyukhina was invited to give lectures at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education in October and November 2021.

Marina Sergeevna Kostyukhina is a well-known literary critic, folklorist, specialist in children`s literature, author of several monographs on children`s literature of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. In his books, the scientist explores the genre system of children`s literature, the typology of its heroes in connection with spiritual culture, the history of upbringing and the originality of everyday life.

Students of the 2nd and 3rd courses of the specialties «Russian language and literature» and «Russian language and literature in schools with a non-Russian language of instruction» with great interest get acquainted with works that are new to them and listen with enthusiasm to the lecturer who is able to present a vivid picture of scientific searches and discoveries. Marina Sergeevna`s broad erudition, lecturing skills and personal charm leave no one indifferent.
