The project program was developed by the Yelbasy Academy, which, like the N.A. Nazarbayev Foundation, cooperates with Abai University.
The educational program is prepared at the initiative of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The aim is to create a national system for diagnostics of aptitudes and professional orientation of schoolchildren, to support talented children to develop their personal potential, and to train specialists for the national Qabilet service.
Qabilet is an innovative, social-psychological service which was created for the first time in Kazakhstan and is unique in its functions and aims. It helps to develop children`s critical thinking, creativity, communication, etc. Every child can be diagnosed from his or her computer or smartphone, which will determine his or her abilities and how to realise them. The use of such advanced psychological technologies and methods developed by home scientists based on global approaches is more than timely. Due to this, the scientists of Abai KazNPU carry out research work on development of children`s giftedness together with the foreign universities that are also involved in realization of «Qabilet» project. This year`s master`s degree program has recruited students who will practise in the Qabilet service, and in the future will be able to work as consultant psychologists in the Daryn centre and other institutions that help children and their parents.
