Accreditation -this is the process by which the accreditation body evaluates the quality of the activities of the university as a whole or individual educational programs of the university in order to recognize their compliance with certain standards and criteria (Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education" dated July 27, 2007 № 319-III.
Each accreditation body determines standards and criteria independently.
There are the following forms of accreditation - specialized (program) accreditation.
Passing institutional accreditation allows the university to:- Develop academic mobility of students and teachers. - Expand the export-oriented educational activities of the university; - Confirm your status and the compliance of the education provided with European standards; - Increase competitiveness in the national market of educational services; - Receive state funding on the basis of an educational grant; - Raise the position, image and public opinion about the university; - Improve the internal quality assurance system and ensure the development of a culture of quality; - Manage the educational process through the management of educational programs.
Passing program (specialized) accreditation allows the university to:- Obtain recognition of University diplomas and expand employment opportunities for graduates abroad. - Develop academic mobility of students and teachers; - Expand the export orientation of educational activities; - Compete in the international educational market; meet the needs of diverse higher education systems; - Confirm your status and the compliance of the education provided with European standards; - Increase competitiveness in the national market of educational services; - Receive funding through a government educational grant; - Raise positions, image and public opinion about the educational program; - Improve the internal quality assurance system of the educational program and ensure the development of a culture of quality; - Manage the educational process through the management of educational programs.
