Charity fair «Dear goodness» to raise funds for the treatment of Mustafayev Bekzat

From November 24 to December 09, 2021, with the support of the Department for Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy under the leadership of G. Shirinbayeva, students-volunteers of the Meirim club held an online and offline charity event «Dear goodness» to raise funds for the treatment of Mustafayev Bekzat for kidney transplantation in Belarus.

On December 21, the funds collected as part of the campaign - about 570 thousand tenge, were awarded to Mustafayev Bekzat with the participation of the vice-rector for Social Development - Sh. Nurlanov, the head of the Meirim club G. Shirinbayeva and volunteer students in the specialty 6B01801 - «Social pedagogy and self-knowledge».

The charity club «Meirim» expresses gratitude to all kind people for their desire to help the needy Bekzat.

«I have been struggling with a serious illness caused by kidney failure for seven years. There was no other choice but to have a kidney transplant operation abroad in Belarus. By the will of fate, I was recently invited to a charity event of the Meirim club, where I met volunteer youth! In an open, sincere conversation, volunteer students felt my suffering with a kind heart. Not indifferent to my difficult fate, they unanimously said that they would help me raise funds for treatment. Today, despite the busy days of the winter session, volunteer students organized a charity fair in the academic buildings of the university and provided me with financial support. From the bottom of my heart I thank the rector of the University Darkhan Bilyalov, the volunteer students of the Meirim club, the entire teaching staff, the university students and all Kazakhstanis for their social support,» said the teacher-musician Bekzat Mustafayev.
