Educational hour in honor of the 175th anniversary of Abai

On April 26, 2020, in honor of the 175th anniversary of Abai, an educational hour was held on the topic «Olmeytugyn artyna soz kaldyrgan» with first-year students of the group «Training of teachers without subject specialization with multilingualism» of the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education Methodology of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology on the platform Zoom (adviser R.S. Ismagulova). The goal is to arouse interest in the spiritual heritage of the great poet, to show the significance of Abai`s works for the younger generation, as well as to promote the expressive reading of his poems.

During the event, students listened to Toti Berkimbayeva, an English teacher at the T. Ryskulov secondary school in the village of Uzynagash in the Zhambyl district of the Almaty region, who artistically read Abai`s poems «Ozgegue konilim toyarsyn» and «6th Word of edification». Inspired by her art, students also read Abai`s works.
