«Admission to magistracy and doctoral studies» webinar

On May 3, 2020, the Marketing Department of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology conducted a webinar through the ZOOM platform on the theme «Admission to magistracy and doctoral studies». Its participants were graduate students, teachers of colleges of the city of Almaty (Almaty Humanitarian Pedagogical College No. 1, KazHABA College), teaching staff of the Institute, deputy director on educational work of Institute of pedagogy and psychology Akzholova Aktoty, and director of the center of professional orientation work and reception of students of Abai KazNPU Auyesbekuly Nurmukhan, who is specially invited for participation in a webinar. Senior Teacher and Leading Specialist of the Department Zhankushkov Bauyrzhan led the event.

He carried out awareness-raising work, as well as demonstrated slides about acceptance of documents and admission to master`s and doctoral studies. During the conference, participants asked the following questions:
1) On changes of standard rules of submission of documents and admission to master s degree and doctoral studies;
2) On changes in the names of educational programs of masters and doctoral studies;
3) On the required level of international language certificates;
4) On the structure of comprehensive testing of admission to the master`s degree;
5) On the cost and discounts of the paid department.

At the end of the conference, the participants thanked the organizers of the conference. The director of the center of professional orientation work and reception of students of Abai KazNPU Auyesbekuly Nurmukhan recommended to carry out this type of awareness-raising work more often with the involvement of students, teachers and school graduates.
