Seminar "Measurement and evaluation of social and psychological health of students"

On October 26, 2023, at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology in the framework of the project "Measurement and evaluation of social and psychological health of the personality of the subjects of the educational process in the challenges of time" was held a scientific and practical seminar "Measurement and evaluation of social and psychological health of students".

In the event with the participation of students of the institutes of Pedagogy and Psychology, Sorbonne-Kazakhstan, Philology, Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, analyses and results of the study of psychological state and social well-being of first year students of different institutes of Abai University in 2022-2023 academic year were presented. The speakers of the seminar were Kosherbaeva A.N. (Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor), Kalimoldaeva A.K. (Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences), Begimbetova G.A. (Doctoral student, Master of Pedagogical Sciences), Jarmukhambetov M.A. (Practical Psychologist, Master of Pedagogical Sciences). The students were surveyed by means of Mentimeter programme, which, according to Likert scale, revealed the level of their social-psychological state in the learning process. At the same time, according to the results of the social survey, the students were provided with the necessary psychological support by psychologist Aksakalova Zh. K.
