Collaboration of Abai University and Lyceum school 119: improving the quality of education in the digital environment

On January 5, 2024, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Absatova Marfuga held a training seminar for teachers of Lyceum school No.119 in Almaty. At the seminar, the possibilities of implementing digital resources within the framework of the Digital School project were considered. The seminar was attended by the director of the school Batyrbekova Zhanyl, the head of the methodical association Kerimbekova Aigerim and also subject teachers. As digital educational resources, the possibilities of online whiteboards, platforms for creating interactive tasks, exercises, for developing tests and questionnaires, and tools for creating presentations were considered. During the meeting, the teachers tried to complete an online questionnaire via google.forms in real mode, play an educational game on the kahoot platform, and upload an assignment on the Padlet online board. Also at the seminar, digital tools were presented by teacher Harsan Meyrlan, who actively participated in advanced training courses under the guidance of M.Absatova. The meeting ended with feedback from teachers and school management and warm wishes.
