The results of the IV Republican children`s competition of local history mathematical problems for younger schoolchildren have been summed up

The Department of Primary Education has been holding a competition for primary school students for the fourth year in a row. This competition accepts plot mathematical problems that correspond to the curriculum of the primary school mathematics course and contain local history material covering various aspects of the life of the native land.

The competition was held remotely in four age groups (students of grades 1-4) in Russian, English and Kazakh. 48 participants were accepted to participate in the competition. Of these, 40 represented the city of Almaty, the rest of the participants were from other cities and regions of Kazakhstan. The number of works for each class was distributed as follows: 9 works were presented in the first class, 5 in the second, 18 in the third, and 16 in the fourth.

The participants competed in seven categories: "The history of my region", "Architecture of my native land", "Geography of my region", "Sports successes of my city", "Cultural life of my city", "Outstanding personalities of my small homeland", "The feat of my people during the Great Patriotic War". The largest number of works were presented in the nomination "Geography of my region".

The jury of the competition included experts in the field of primary education. The jury team is represented by 7 participants who are experienced teachers. The jury team included: PhD, Professor of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education Kaznatszhenpu Ageeva L. E.; PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of Primary Education of KazNPU named after Abai - Astambayev Zh.K.; PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of Primary Education of KazNPU named after Abai - Bazarbekov R.Zh.; PhD, I.Oh. professors of the Department of Primary Education of KazNPU named after Abai -Lebedev L.A., primary school teacher of KSU Gymnasium No. 46, Almaty -Kebirova R. M.; primary school teacher, teacher-expert, Bekbolat village of Karasai district of Almaty region, May 1, OM -Dzhankenova A. K.; as well as primary school teacher of KSU "Lyceum Schools No. 28 named after M.Mametova", 2nd year undergraduate student at the Abai KazNPU - Estemes Karina Aidarovna.

The organizing committee of the competition consisted of 12 members: Ph.D., professor of the Department of Primary Education Akpaeva Assel Bakirovna, primary school teacher of KSU "Lyceum Schools No. 28 named after M.Mametova", a 2nd-year undergraduate student at the Abai KazNPU - Estemes Karina Aidarovna, who is currently working on a dissertation on the topic: "The use of local history material in mathematics lessons as a means of developing cognitive interest", as well as 2nd year students of the specialty "Primary education with ICT" Bulatova Gulnaz Yerzhanovna, Gordeeva Sofia Stanislavovna, Evseeva Regina Vladimirovna, Zhanys Asem Saparbekkyzy, Ibragimova Alina Damirovna, Mailyanova Ramin Husainovna, Mammadova Dilyara Rasimovna, Temirgalieva Aidana Rustemovna, Tkachenko Anastasia Evgenievna, Cha Aneli Alexandrovna.

The jury team and the organizing committee of the competition are professional experts and specialists in the field of primary education, the competition was held at a high organizational and methodological level.
