New trends and values in modern education and upbringing

On April 17, 2024, the Department of Pedagogy of the KazNPU named after Abay, jointly with the State Institution "City Scientific and Methodological Center for New Technologies in Education" and the KSU "General Education School No. 104" of the Department of Education of Almaty held an international scientific and practical conference for managers and teachers of educational organizations in the city and Almaty region.

The director of the school, Aiza Mukhtarkulova, delivered a welcoming speech to the conference participants, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between the university and the school.

In her speech, Tolkyn Kudaibergenovna revealed the strategic work of the university with educational organizations of the city and region.

Also, the head of the department of pedagogy, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor of KazNPU named after Abai Sholpan Kolumbaeva, made a welcoming speech and a meaningful report, who in her speech clearly outlined the trends and values of modern education.

The plenary session was also attended by the senior manager of the center of pedagogical excellence of the Almaty branch of "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" Mayrash Kobenovna, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of KazNPU named after Abai Gulmira Saudabayeva, Deputy Director of School No. 104 Daulet Sarsenbaev, primary school teacher of KSU " Gymnasium No. 36 named after. B. Atykhanova" Gulnar Saduakasova, teacher of Russian language and literature, KSU "Secondary school named after Suyunbay", Almaty region, Zhambyl district, Karakastek village Gulvira Bakber, teacher of geography, KSU "Secondary school No. 104", teacher-researcher Kulzipa Tolymbek.

The online connection was memorable for the meaningful presentation by an expert in the educational system of Singapore, Zhuldyz Amangeldy, who works as an English teacher at universities in this country and introduced the participants to the features of the Singapore education system.

Ph.D., senior lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy of Abai KazNPU Fatima Asylbaeva shared the features of using digital platforms in working with students in pedagogical classes.
The conference participants were presented with diplomas and letters of gratitude from the Abai KazNPU.

More than 100 participants took part in the plenary session and continued working in sections.
