Scientific battle: "Legal nihilism in the modern world"

On November 27, 2024 students of the 3rd (3rd year) and 4th year of specialty 6B01101 - Pedagogy and Psychology Milana Askarova, Lyubov Osina, Victoria Zavodovskaya in KSU "Lyceum No. 134" held a scientific battle on the topic "Legal Nihilism in the Modern World".

The scientific event was held in offline-online format within the framework of the International Scientific and Educational Project "Bilim zhane Bolashak", organized by the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology (Aktoty Akzholova, Saule Issaliyeva), Faculty of Arts (Aliya Mombek), Eurasian Scientific and Methodological Journal "East-West" for master and doctoral students, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (Abulfat Palangov, Gulnara Khaspoladova), City Scientific and Methodological Center of New Technologies in Education of the Department of Education of Almaty (Roza Akmagambetova), KSU "Lyceum No. 134" (Saule Sosanova, Venera Okassova).

The event was attended by students of 10-11 classes of gymnasiums No. 34, No. 46 and Lyceum No. in Almaty, as well as subject teachers, educational psychologists and invited experts. Rysty Kerimbayeba (M.H.Dulati Taraz University) acted as an expert of the science battle.

In the first round, the teams presented "Video Visits", then took part in the quiz "Legal literacy", and in the third round expressed their opinion on such concepts as "legal consciousness", "legal understanding" and "legal culture", touched upon the basics of legal nihilism and came to a common conclusion. The participants actively participated in the battle, asked questions to their opponents, gave examples and counterarguments, supporting their ideas with scientific facts.

The audience showed interest in the topic of legal nihilism, issued of low and legal consciousness, the scientific battle became an important step in strengthening legal culture among young people and gave a start to the city and republican stages of the international scientific and educational project.
