Polyglot Competition "Multilingualism is the path to the world educational space"
On 24 April, 2018 in the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the 35th anniversary of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education, a contest of polyglots among students, undergraduates and doctoral students PhD "Multilingualism is the path to the world educational space".
This competition began with the presentation of groups of students, undergraduates and doctoral students.
Each round of the contest was held in Kazakh, Russian and English. Questions of the quiz devoted to the 90th anniversary of our university and the 35th anniversary of the department, the works of Abai, the renewed education program were included. During the quiz, participants demonstrated a high level of proficiency in three languages and a broad erudition.
The participants of the contest showed a creative approach at the stage of cluster formation on the theme "Multilingualism is the path to the world educational space" and presentation of the project "Updated program is the way to the future".
The work of the teams was assessed by a jury consisting of Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Aktotiy Akzholova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Gulnar Uaisova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Teacher Sazhila Nurzhanova and Master of Education, Senior Teacher Bauyrzhan Zhankushkov.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the team "Rays", the second place - the group "Dostyk", the third place - the group "Erudite". In addition, the winners of the nominations "Young Scientist", "Best Presentation", "Most Creative Group" were awarded. The contest ended with the joint performance of the song in three languages, written by students, undergraduates and doctoral students.
