Week of the department of pedagogy

From April 15 to April 20, 2018, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University a week of the Department of Pedagogy was held.

Purpose of the Week: development in future teachers of value attitude to the teacher`s profession, the formation of their professionally significant properties and qualities (competencies); strengthening the relationship of the department with schools; strengthening the connection of the Department of Pedagogy with other departments of the university; strengthening international cooperation: the promotion of scientific research department.

During this week, the following events were held:

April 15, in the framework of the «Week of the Department of Pedagogy» of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, a training seminar was held on the theme: «The development of critical thinking».

The training was conducted by the head of the Center for Continuing Education of the Institute of Continuing Education of Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov - Associate Professor, Trainer of Level Programs Imzharova Zauresh Ubaidulaevna (former applicant of the Department of Pedagogy, supervisor K.K. Zhampeisova).

April 16, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy Saudabaeva Gulmira Sauytzhanovna held a scientific and methodological seminar «Development of leadership qualities of the future teacher». The goal of the scientific and methodological seminar is to form the future teacher`s leadership qualities in the conditions of a developed school leadership. To achieve a high quality professional career of the future teacher, great attention must be paid to the development of leadership in education (in many developed countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Finland, Singapore, this experience is available). Today it is necessary to improve school leadership in educational institutions for the preparation of highly qualified teachers.

April 17, the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, head of the department of Korlan Zampeisova held a final lesson in the discipline «National Education: «Mangilik El» in which were held competitions: 1) for the best essay" My Kazakhstan»; 2) to the best presentation of one of the topics of the discipline «Mangilik El»; 3) to the best video «My city of Almaty»; 4) showing students an interview in this discipline in the context of the development of their national identity and civic identification.

April 18, for teachers of Almaty schools, a scientific seminar was held on the «Model and technology of forming a national identity among students». The seminar is held, head of the department of pedagogy Korlan Zampeisova. The purpose of the seminar: to familiarize teachers with the new theory and technology of the formation of national identity of students, taking into account the values of the national idea «Maglіl Yel», the main directions of «Ruhani Zhanyru» and «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe». This theory and technology developed by leading scientists of the Department of Pedagogy. The seminar was held at a very high level. The Directorate of the City Scientific and Methodological Center for New Technologies in Education in Almaty issued a request for systematic holding of such seminars for teachers of the city`s schools.

April19, in the framework of the week, the department of pedagogy with university students conducted a training «Skills of the XXI century. Methods that a student should know». The training was conducted by Professor Ayman Berikkhanova, senior lecturer Sayat Ibraimov. The purpose of the training is the development, application and familiarization with applied methods, mastering the skills of digital technologies of the XXI century. This training is significant for students in the preparation and enrichment of practical tasks, joint and research work.
