Museums reveal secrets

On November 23, 2020, a senior lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan of Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU, Elmira Azeretbergenova organized an online interview on the topic «Museums reveal secrets» with the deputy director for scientific work of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum «Azret-Sultan», Murat Tastanbekov. During the conversation, topics were discussed about the state historical and cultural reserve-museum «Azret-Sultan» and its connection with the development of the city of Turkestan, which has a long and rich history.

During a live broadcast, the museum`s guide Daniyar Sadvakosov spoke about this cultural facility, showed its most interesting exhibits and told about its amazing history. Listeners, immersed in ancient times, received new information about the mausoleum and about 100 monuments reflecting the history of Kazakhstan.

At the end of the online event, Murat Tastanbekov invited students to visit this ancient city which, with the acquisition of the status of a regional centre, received a new development and a more modern look.
