Exhibition Treasures of Egypt

On September 24, 2019, students of the historical club «Tarihkha Sayakhat» with their supervisor, associate professor T.T. Dalaeva, visited the exhibition "Treasures of Egypt" in the Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition was opened by the cultural attache, director of the Center for Culture and Education of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Kazakhstan, Professor Randa Mahmoud Rizk. At the exhibition, students examined valuable exhibits reflecting the history of the pharaoh dynasty, household items, products from papyrus, leather, metal, wood, as well as products of decorative and applied and calligraphic art, including sculptural figures of the Gods, ancient lamps, kumgans, jugs, decorative vases and plates, caskets inlaid with mother of pearl and bone, paintings depicting ancient necropolises and gods and much more. What was seen at the exhibition was useful information for students and significantly expanded their understanding of how history is reflected in the museum space.
