Topical issues of distance learning organization were discussed


On May 20, 2020, at the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU, the republican online conference «Actual issues of the organization of distance learning» was held.


The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University, Asan Satmurzaev, who spoke about the large-scale work carried out online in connection with the emergency situation at the university. Emphasizing that the global epidemic had not prevented the university from achieving its strategic objectives, he presented the advantages and best ways of mastering digital technologies.


Then the moderator of the online conference, the head of the department «Preschool education and social pedagogy» Kyyakbaeva Ulbosyn introduced the speakers of the conference. Speakers shared their views and experiences on organizing distance learning and had a very useful exchange of knowledge.


For example, from a scientific and theoretical point of view, Professor SN Zhienbayeva in her report «Problems of digital pedagogy in education» noted that along with «digital pedagogy», which is now entering the scientific community, there are new terms such as «digital child». Focusing on the three different values of offspring (X, Y and Z) based on the theory of upbringing, she stated that this issue should be the subject of much research. In addition, she provided a number of tasks for the mass introduction of digital pedagogy in the higher education school as a science, shared scientifically grounded thoughts about the introduction of such issues in educational programs as: who are the representatives of digital pedagogy, increase in hours, change in the content of disciplines in this direction, that is, change of sillabuses and EMCD. The value of this report is that it offers new ideas that need to be explored for modern scientists.


Ideas of I.A. Oralkanova on the topic «The possibilities of using new digital technologies in the conditions of distance learning» aroused great interest from the participants of the conference from the point of view of practical significance.


Speaking about trends in education, issues of digital literacy, the speaker shared her experience of using digital technologies in organizing professional activities, creating digital educational materials, that is, the format of educational materials, conducting interactive lessons and assessing learning outcomes. In general, the conference was interesting and eventful with various questions and answers.
