Large-scale advanced training courses for teachers of preschool organizations in Almaty

 

From October 24 to November 27, 2023, Eurasian Technical and Economic College and MCPI "Child Development Laboratory" (Russia) organised large-scale professional development courses for teachers of preschool organisations in Almaty on «Modern educational technologies of preschool education and world practice of early childhood development». Trainers of the courses were international specialists in preschool education from Germany, Finland, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries. A team of leading scientists from the Moscow City Pedagogical University (MGPU) headed by I.B.Shiyan, Head of the Child Development Laboratory, was also involved. The leading experts are O.Shiyan, T.Levan, A.Yakshina and O.Kholodova.

 

Professors and teachers from the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of Abay KazNPU were involved in conducting training courses together with foreign scientists: G.T.Abitova training seminars for teachers of preschool organizations «Creation of an original program for the use of modern methods of early childhood development», «Learning through play. Goals of games, tasks of their application in practice»; A.A.Alimbekova «Development of divergent thinking in children», neurotraining for teachers of the organization; Toleshova U. B. training seminar for psychologists of the preschool organization «Art Therapy»; Atemkulova N. O. Training seminar for music directors of a preschool organization «Technologies for raising and teaching children through music».

 

Doctoral students of the specialty «8D012-Pedagogy of preschool education and upbringing» held a training seminar using modern technologies on the topic: A.A.Auezova «Development of cognitive interest in children of senior preschool age through constructive games»; D.A.Erdembekova «Development of preschoolers` readiness for project activities based on Reggio pedagogy»; Aubakir B. «Features of preparing variable educational programs in preschool organizations»; A.B.Konysbaeva «Diagnostics and development of a child of senior preschool age»; M.Berlibaeva «Development of emotional intelligence in children of senior preschool age through play activities»; Y.Iminova «Creating a subject-spatial environment in preschool organizations»; Zh.Shazhabayeva «Neuropedagogy in preschool education».

 

In the course of joint courses, teachers and doctoral students of the Department of Preschool Education were able to share their scientific professional experience, to test their scientific research in practice.

 

The work on professional development was carried out during the implementation of the Roadmap of the Almaty City development Program until 2025, as part of the EdCrunch global conference. During this entire period, 2205 teachers from 192 kindergartens in Almaty took advanced training courses.
