City seminar «Education of patriotism based on national values»

On December 6, 2023, a city seminar on the topic "Education of patriotism based on national values" was held at Gymnasium No. 211 of the Turksib district of Almaty. The purpose of the seminar: the formation of Kazakhstani patriotism, national identity, social competence, familiarization of students with the cultural traditions of their people, universal human values in a multinational state.

The seminar was attended by an artist, a master in the manufacture of national musical instruments, a cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor J. A. Together with him, the delegation from the faculty of the Department of "Art art" of Abai KazNPU held an exhibition of their creative works. Along with traditional decorative and applied products such as dombra, tekemet, SHIM shi, ak Baskur, leather and jewelry, works of art were presented to the visitors. Senior lecturer, Kulzhabaev E.U., , acting associate professor I.O., Rabilova Z.Zh. was present at the jury in the evaluation of scientific works of students. Professor of the University Zhamankaraev S.K. in the art of drawing, senior lecturer B.A. Atamkulov conducted master classes in jewelry art and a master class, associate professor of the University M.S. Nurke on the felt technique of decorative craft. The teaching staff of the Department contributed to the disclosure of the main objectives of the seminar, such as the disclosure of the creative potential of children and adolescents, familiarization with the beautiful world through culture and art, increasing the importance and participation in the history of the country, fostering patriotism and love for their native land, preservation of cultural heritage. Also, future school graduates were given professional recommendations on choosing the Abai University.
