«Best plein air» competition for the prize of the rector

On May 29, there was held a creative practical competition «The Best plein air» within the framework of the «Year of Youth» for students of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports with the support of the Rector of Abai KazNPU Takir Balykbayev and the student`s administration.

More than 30 students took part in the competition, wrote works of plein air and picturesque corners of the city of Almaty of their choice. At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, rector Takir Balykbayev delivered a welcoming speech, presented the winners of the contest with the special prize of the university administration.

According to the results of the competition, the І-place was taken by freshman year student in the specialty «Fine arts and drawing» Zhumabay Zhuldyz under the direction of Bazar Yrystanuly, ІІ-place Aruzhan Eralieva under the leadership of Bazar Yrystanuly, and Zhansaya Eshmanova under the supervisor of Yerlan Asembeiuly, III-place Togzhan Esim under the leadership of Erzhan Rysymbetov and Dariga Kasenova under the leadership of Bazar Yrystanuly. In addition, diplomas and cash prizes were awarded to students under the guidance of teachers Zhamankaraeva Sovetkazhi and Rabilova Zoya for incentive prizes. All participants were also given letters of appreciation from the rector.

The best works of the competition are accepted to the university fund. The event was held at a high level, causing great interest in the practical work of students.
