Members of the «Birlik» Student Assembly at the Republican Korean Theatre

On March 13, 2022 teachers of Department of Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and members of student Assembly «Birlik» visited Republic Korean theatre and watched its play.

The story of the play «Tree» in this theatre tells how two soldiers on the border, divided by the 38th parallel between North and South Korea, happened to be in the same space and experienced different feelings. The play, in the genre of pamphlet drama, points out at the end that one does not have the right to choose one`s country, one`s homeland. The story of two soldiers of the same kind, speaking the same language, willing to experience the same peaceful life, ends with the fact that they cannot go against the policies of their state.

Students were pleased with the Korean theatre troupe`s play and at the end of the event they presented flowers to the actors, who performed their roles masterfully.
