Welcome to Abai KazNPU!

On May 13, 2020, the department of philological specialties for foreign citizens of the faculty for foreign citizens and pre-university training organized an online career guidance meeting «Applicant 2020». The guests of this event were teachers and students of grades 10-11 of the Kargaly specialized gymnasium No. 2 for gifted children with instruction in three languages (Kargaly settlement, Zhambyl district of Almaty region), representatives of the International Kazakh-Chinese language college and UO «New School» (g. Almaty).

In her welcoming address to the event participants, the head of the department Begalieva Saule noted that Abai KazNPU is the center for the development of domestic pedagogical science and the training of highly qualified pedagogical personnel.

During the meeting, teachers of the department emphasized the importance of the teaching profession in modern society, saying that the state pays great attention to raising the status of a teacher. As part of this event, guests were provided with information about the specialties that are taught at Abai KazNPU, about the work of the Admissions Committee.

Teachers and students invited to the meeting asked questions about the rules of admission to the university, about the possibilities of obtaining grants for studies, and were interested in what conditions were created for the realization of creative and sports abilities.

Guests expressed their interest in further cooperation with the Abai University and thanked for organizing and holding this meeting.

Teachers of the department expressed hope that the oldest university in Kazakhstan will replenish with new students, who will later proudly say: «I am a graduate of Abai KazNPU!».
