Lecture on «Organization of work of sommelier, bartender and barista»

 

On February 13, 2021, Abdykadyr Dauren, director of «Brown Buffet» coffeehouse, held an informal lecture on the discipline «Organization of work of sommelier, bartender and barista» for students specializing in «Restaurant industry and hotel business», organized by the lecturer of the Institute of Natural science and Geography, Suranchiyeva Yel-Dana. There were 5 people in total at the offline lecture. The meeting lasted two hours. During the lecture, our guest shared his experience of doing business, information about coffee beans, methods of making coffee drinks, special equipment for roasting coffee, provided students with the necessary information. He shared his invaluable experience of self-development in this area, gave practical advice to students. During the meeting, students asked questions, showed interest and tasted coffee drinks. Students expressed their gratitude and wished to conduct such informal offline lectures more often.
