Career guidance is the basis of choosing a future job

On April 19, 2022, the marketing department of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, in order to implement career guidance for school graduates, held a meeting with graduates of the general secondary school No. 181 of the Alatau district of Almaty in the direction of «Career guidance as the basis of the future».

The event was attended by: responsible person of the Marketing Department Albina Beikitova, head of the pedagogical practice of students of the Department of Educational Programs of Biology Abdikarimova Gauhar, biology teacher Sailauova Aziza, deputy directors for academic affairs, teachers, classroom teachers, graduates. Career guidance is the work necessary for the formation of interest in the profession and an informed choice of a future profession, taking into account the abilities and inclinations of each student. The younger generation consciously chooses the future profession, without making mistakes. A video about Abai University was shown at the meeting. During the event, the achievements of the university in the field of education and science were reviewed, as well as detailed information about the specialties in demand was given. As part of the event, students received consultations about professions and the necessary information about the requirements for admission to university.
