International youth scientific forum «Paradigms of Natural Science Education and Science for Sustainable Development»


Abai KazNPU hosted the international youth scientific forum «Paradigms of Natural Science Education and Science for Sustainable Development» on November 24, 2022. The forum was held within the framework of the international project «Promoting Teacher Education for Climate Change Education through Collaboration between Asian Centers of Excellence on Education for Sustainable Development» carried out by the Institute for Natural Science and Geography in cooperation with Okayama University (Japan).


The purpose of the forum is to analyze trends in the development of modern natural science and education in accordance with the ideas of sustainable development.


The main directions of the forum

1. Paradigms of Natural Science Education and Science;
2. Current Trends in Natural Science Education for Sustainable Development;
3. Regional Aspects of the Implementation of Sustainable Development Ideas;
4. Sustainable Development for Territorial Security and Well-Being;
5. Consolidation and Coordination on the SDGs Issues in the Context of Globalisation and Post-Pandemic Period;
6. Trends in Modern Education and Science in the Field of Environmental Security.


The International Forum was attended by young scientists from higher educational institutions and research institutes of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, France and Japan. An active discussion of the speakers` reports and the results of their scientific research indicate that the forum was held at a high level. During the forum, the Councils of Young Scientists discussed the implementation of joint scientific projects, events and the establishment of further cooperation. At the end of the forum, the director of the Institute for Natural Science and Geography, Doctor of Geography, Professor Kulyash Kaimuldinova presented letters of thanks and certificates to the speakers and active participants and wished the young scientists` success in their research work.
