On May 12, 2017 within the framework of the "Open Doors" event at the Institute of Natural History and Geography was held a meeting between academic staff of the Department of Anatomy, Physiology, Zoology and life safety and pupils of the Kargalinsk school No. 2 for gifted children. Lecturers told about the history and everyday life of the department to pupils, demonstrated the educational equipment, acquainted with the disciplines of the department. Schoolchildren showed great interest, and at the end of the meeting they had the opportunity to review the drugs in detail, work with the microscope, and train the skills of rendering pre-medical care on the models.
