Qualification training courses in the cooperation of Abai university and "Өrleu" jscompany

Branch of JSC "National Center for Professional Development "Оrleu" Institute of Professional Development in Almaty region in the period from June 17 to June 28, 2024 in the framework of the state order invited acting professor of the Department of Music Education and Choreography of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, candidate of pedagogical sciences Laura Kakimova to conduct seminars for music teachers on the approved educational program on the theme "Development of professional competencies of the music teacher".

The purpose of the program is to develop professional competencies of music teachers through the application of modern educational technologies and teaching methods in the teaching process, aimed at improving the functional literacy of students.  This course consists of 4 modules. It includes improvement of the content and methods of teaching, development and education in the context of improving the quality of education, development of IT-competence and digital literacy of music teachers and others.  Teachers of the course deepen their knowledge of the content of the subject "Music" based on new interactive methods of teaching music, learn to organize project activities of students in music lessons.

To consolidate the material, 6 hours of practical seminars provided by the course program were held in the walls of Abai University. The music teachers visited the Department of Music Education and Choreography, classrooms of the Faculty of Arts, the University Museum; talked to the university faculty and received a lot of good impressions. Taking the opportunity to acquaint the course participants with the educational programs of the faculty, career guidance work was carried out.

Music teachers from different districts of Almaty region in number of 25 people took part in the professional development course. At the end of the course on June 28, they received a certificate of 80 hours. During two weeks of training at the course, many made friends, strengthened their creative alliances, shared their teaching experience and creative discoveries.

Overall, the course was very helpful for professional growth and discovering creative ideas for future music lessons.
