SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR FROM TURKEY VISITED
ABAI UNIVERSITY

As part of the implementation of the 2024-2026 calendar plan for the scientific project AP23488786 entitled "Transdisciplinary Research in the System of Art Education: The Phenomenon of Cultural Memory and National Values in Contemporary Content", approved by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the development and implementation of dual-degree educational programs is actively continuing.

On November 25, 2025, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, an official handover of the memorandum of bilateral cooperation was held. The memorandum was signed between the Faculty of Arts of Akdeniz University (Antalya, Turkey) and the university`s leadership by the project`s foreign advisor, PhD, Associate Professor Mariyam Yeziyeva, and was formally presented to the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Ertay Sultan.
The event was attended by the Director of the Department for Educational Program Analysis, Nurzhamal Oshanova, the Director of the Department for International Cooperation, Bayan Sapargalieva, and the head of the scientific project, Laura Kakimova.

The parties discussed the further development of dual-degree programs, expansion of joint educational initiatives, implementation of international research projects, and deepening of scientific collaboration.

To ensure the successful implementation of the dual degree master`s programs in "7M01402 - Music Education" and "7M02125 - Design (Fashion Design)", as well as the master`s programs in "Music" and "Design" at Akdeniz University, the memorandum of cooperation was renewed and concrete plans for the upcoming stage of joint work were outlined.
