Meeting with Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Pernebek Momynov

On the March 19, 2019, a meeting with Professor of T. Zhurgenov Kazakh Art Academy, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a well-known teacher and musician Pernebek Momynov was held. Students and teaching staff of the Department of Music Education and Choreography discussed the main provisions of the State program «Rouhani Zhangyru», the values of traditional and modern musical culture in the revival of the national consciousness of the younger generation.

In her opening remarks, the organizer of the event, Professor Namazova Kamash gave a brief information about the creative life of Pernebek Momynov, about his scientific and educational works on the problems of history and theory of Kazakh music, methods of music education, etc.

The meeting was attended by the well-known performer of Kazakh traditional songs, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Associate Professor of T. Zhurgenov Art Academy Nurzhan Zhampeysov, the choir of college students at T. Zhurgenov Art Academy. At the meeting, the students of the specialty «5B010600- Music Education» (Beckenova Jania, Butakbai Akan, Alimzhanuly Sanjar and others) performed concert numbers.

At the end of the meeting, Pernebek Momynov donated 20 copies of teaching manuals on the theory and history of Kazakh music to the students of Abai KazNPU.
