Student concert
«In the name of cultural diversity, dialogue and development»,
dedicated to the World Day of Culture and Arts

On May 21, 2019, at the Department of Music Education and Choreography of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports of Abai KazNPU, there was held a student concert «In the name of cultural diversity, dialogue and development», dedicated to the World Day of Culture and Arts.

The concert was attended by students studying under the program of academic mobility in the specialty «Music education» Baqdaulet Uzakbek - 2 course (Turkestan, Int. Silk Way University) and Aktolkyn Torekhanova - 2 course (Taraz, TarSPU), and also the best students of the department: Zhaina Bekenova - 1 course, Abylaikhan Zhetkіzgenuly - 1 course, Aygerіm Kүzdіkbay - 1 course, Zubaira Yusupahmetova - 1 course, Sergazina Nazerke - 1 course, Alіmzhanuly Sanjar - 1 course, Madina Muhadi - 1 course, Oksana Babyakin - 2 course, Akan Butakbay - 2 course, Bekbolat Kosyn - 3 course, Erketai Abay - 3 course.

The program of the concert included a variety of vocal and instrumental musical works of Kazakh, Russian and Western European composers of folk, classical and pop genres.

The concert was organized under the direction of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Laura Narikbayeva, responsible for international cooperation and academic mobility, and Erenziz Makhanov, responsible for educational work in the department.

For active participation in the event and cultural and educational life of the university, students were awarded letters of commendation on behalf of Aigul Iskakova, Director of the department of international cooperation and academic mobility, Tokkozha Kozhagulov, Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports, and Kamarsulu Ibraeva, head of the department of music education and choreography.
